    Hello Ladan,

I found out about you and your blog from Eric Holmlund’s blog. Thank you for allowing him to share your inspiring story.

May I invite you to check out Willie Crawford’s discussion forum at http://www.WillieCrawford.com/cgi-bin/index.cgi when you get a spare moment? I’m a moderator there and I think that I can safely speak for the “regulars” there when I say that your insights and participation would be welcome.

    Thanks,
    Tom Brownsword

    Hi Tom,

Thank you. I first found out about Willie’s blog through Case Stevens. He is a good business friend of mine. As I remember, he is also a moderator there.

Sure, I’ll take a look again.

    Have a nice day,
    Ladan

    Hi Ladan,

Like Tom, I just found out about you and your blog from Eric’s Blog. Yes, you do have a very inspiring story, overcoming so many obstacles against all odds. Most people in your situation would have given up long ago or not even tried in the first place. I’m very impressed with your professionalism and determination. You’re amazing!

Your story will cause me to really think twice before I complain about some “obstacle” that I think I’m facing, because I realize how minor it will be in relation to your situation. And it makes me thankful to think of all the priveleges and advantages I have living in the United States.

It saddens me to hear that some people have put you down simply because you’re from Iran. Yes, I’m afraid that your country does have a negative perception, at least in the U.S., because of some of the actions and statements of Iran’s leaders.

I don’t always agree with the actions and statements of the leaders of the U.S. either, and I’ll bet we have some negative perceptions as well. But I wouldn’t want someone to judge me similarly simply because of the country I happen to live in.

Anyone that judges you that way has allowed their mind to be closed by prejudice rather than reason. They’re only harming themselves and missing an opportunity to be inspired and gain knowledge from your experience.

Not only that, you’ve got some great business knowledge that could help anyone interested in internet marketing, so they’d be missing that as well. I’m impressed that you have acquired so much knowledge at a very young age. I’m relatively new to internet marketing myself even though I’m considerably older than you (I’m not telling how much!)

I agree with your choice of Michel Fortin’s blog, which I just found recently, and Willie Crawford is a top-notch internet marketer whose work I’ve studied as well. I’m trying to hone my copywriting skills so Michel’s blog is of particular interest to me.

Keep doing what you’re doing, and I hope you’ll get that chance to move to somewhere that will allow you to grow your business and experience the kind of success I know you’re capable of.

    Best regards,

    Brian

    Hi Ladan,

Congratulations on your perseverance and determination to succeed against all odds.

I also heard of you from ericstips. I have some Iranian friends that left Iran for greater freedom to change their lives and know a little of the difficulties you have faced from their stories as well.

I came to know here from Ewen Chia Blog. I looking to start a blog with my own domain name and paid web hosting.

But searching for a reliable web host is a tedious task since there are thousands of web host out there.

Since you have started some websites for quite some time, I suppose that you are quite satisfied with your current web host.

So what web hosting company you used?

  12. Ladan Lashkari Says:

    Hi Jimmy,

I use and recommend HostGator. Their service is very affordable, easy to use, and you can host an unlimited domains and websites on it which is VERY helpful when you create multiple sites.
