Fun Corner, Internet Marketing

Warm greetings to you from the warm and wet Singapore! 🙂

I’m writing this post for you from my hotel room at the Grand Mercure Roxy hotel. I’ve been here for the past few days for the World Internet Summit seminar.

Until now, this trip has been a great experience – not only for the seminar, but also for meeting many wonderful people and respected Internet marketing experts here.

Many of them I have known through the Internet but never face to face. And I’m telling you… you can learn a LOT more about someone’s personality when you actually meet and talk to them face to face.

I got the chance to meet my good friend Mark Joyner – who is not only a highly respect marketing expert but also a really wonderful person. He is one of the (if not THE) Internet marketing experts that I respect most.

I also met Armand Morin, Patric Chan, John Childers (who shared some gems about success secrets), Dr. Mani, Kevin Riley, and many more.

So it’s just a few days that I’m here and it’s already paid off 100 times for all the traveling costs and then some.

That’s why I’m definitely going to attend future seminars and I highly recommend you consider this too, because if you’re willing to take advantage of the opportunities, there will be a LOT of golden ones standing right in front of you!

“So what about pictures? Have you taken any?” You may be wondering… 🙂
Yes! I took a lot of pictures that I’m definitely going to share some of them as soon as I can find the time. Because things are very busy here.

Until then, have a great week!

Good to meet you there, Ladan!

Although I have to admit, I am not the most sociable person, I do see the value of networking especially during such seminars.

Mark Joyner was a really down-to-earth and amicable guy and when I was approaching him while he was talking to a few other guys, he actually made the first move to bring me in to his ‘circle’ and asked me for my name!

There were priceless moments in those 4 days which caused my skin hair to stand and almost brought tears to my eyes.

Ewen Chia’s story of 5 years of determination moved me.

Stephen Pierce was probably the most powerful speaker I have ever met in person.

Mark Joyner knew how to have fun yet impacted me with his vision of a better new world through Unifying Social Dynamics and the Free Agent Path.

Brett McFall was just an overall great guy – I should have volunteered when he was offering the bottle of water for $100, though.

All in all, the most important thing that I could take out of the 4 days was the importance of taking massive action and not being too much of a perfectionist especially in the beginning.

I made a lot of mistakes in my 5 years of ‘trying’ to market online, I even had a list of 1,000 names in my self-improvement newsletter that I built from scratch over the course of a few months that I had foolishly abandoned for months because I was jumping from one marketing fad to another.

But learning from Mark and Stephen, I know I should not kick myself for my past and move on. I now have a massive plan of action and I am determined to execute it.

I am still young (although I am about 3 years older than you, I think 😀 ), so there is absolutely hope for a great future.

To Your Success and Mine and All of Ours!
