Fun Corner

Today was the fourth day of my trip in Malaysia and I have come to a conclusion…

Malaysia Rocks!

It’s true that Malaysia might not be the most modern country in the world with the most organized system of transportation or educational system…

But Malaysia has one thing that is impressive and I will never forget…

Amazingly kind and hospitable people!

You know how we Internet marketers has a kind of business that lets us know many people from all around the world – whether our customers, JV parters, or simply friends.

For me after 4 years of being in this business, I’ve yet come to see a country with such a kind people who really go out of their way to help you in any way they can.

When you come here and you are alone and with not much knowledge about the culture, laws, safety issues, and so on… there are wonderful people who help you happily and generously.

For that, my special thanks and cheers goes to Khai and Yuenn – my most valued friends here who are truly awesome. (You guys ROCK! 🙂 )

I’ve also met some other wonderful people like Edmund Loh (Thanks for your magical skill in cheering me up in the craziest situations – where only you could do that 🙂 Also thanks for offering to show me around in KL)…

(You can see Edmund’s fun birthday bash photos here on his blog)

Yuenn’s mother (lovely lady, she taught me great things in Chinese), Lynn – Yuenn’s sister (you felt like my own sister for being so kind and understanding), and some other awesome people.

So right now I’m at a Starbucks cafe – putting all my other urgent Internet tasks on hold – just to write this public thank-you note for you. 🙂

If your name was mentioned above, you are on my top special list. If not, I still remember you and your helps.

By the way, another amazing thing I’ve noticed in Malaysia, is smiling is very easy and common. Like when you are passing someone on the street and look at each other, it’s common that the person smiles at you (especially if you’re both a woman).

Isn’t it lovely?

So if you’re like me and enjoy being with people and making frienships whenever you go, this would be the perfect experience for you.

It happened to me some times that when I was walking through a shopping mall to exit, I heard store owners whom I had met called, “Ladan! Goodbye!”

Isn’t it lovely? 🙂

Anyway, until today my trip to Malaysia has been a great experinece and I’ll definitely come back again.

For now, warm heartily wishes and special greetings for you from KL, Malaysia… 🙂

Have a lovely day!

    Hi Sherman,

Yes, I too would love to post the so many photos I’ve taken from places I’ve been to here in KL, but things are just crazy here – very little time and so many things to do. 🙂

But thanks to Eddie (LOL, I mean Edmund 😉 ) I’ve been around to a lot of interesting and fun places…

KL Aquarium, Bukit Bintang, Twin Towers, Petaling Street, etc.

I will definitely post more about it when I get back home in a few days. 🙂

    Hiya Ladan,

It was nice to have finally met you in person. Great to see that we M’sian are doing a great job to make you feel welcome and comfortable. Thanks to Edmund for showing you around too.

Ladan, when will you be putting the videos up? Would love to watch it…especially the drunkards internet marketers singing their hearts out in Red Box karaoke. 😛

Do keep in touch and you are always welcome in M’sia!

    Hi Matt,

It was a pleasure meeting you in person too. I had heard a lot about you before from other Malaysian IM friends…

“Matt is a very friendly and humble person… Matt is one of those people who know about almost every topic and are very knowledgeable…”

So it was good to finally meet you and see what all of that was about. 🙂

As for the pictures and videos, I’ll be putting them up as soon as I can get the time to edit them – especially the videos take longer.

But hopefully will do it in the next few days.
