Fun Corner, Personal Thoughts

So it’s been a while that I haven’t made frequent posts on this blog, so you may be wondering where I was or what had been keeping me busy?

As much I loved to take some time to still keep writing for you here, because I always enjoy sharing anything I know with you and also hearing your comments… πŸ™‚

But the truth is I was very busy with some personal matters and also some other business projects.

As for the personal matters, yes, we all do have a personal life – even us Internet marketers. πŸ˜‰

After all, money isn’t everything .

"Yeah, right! " πŸ˜‰

Well, I agree with a part of how you feel. Because there are two types of people who say this exact thing…

  • Those who are broke and say it just as a lame excuse to defend why they are not successful

  • Those who are rich and have already tasted how it’s like to have lots of money, but have seen how money can’t buy everything. So they have reached a higher place that they see beyond just "money, money, and more money"

So OK, I am certainly not broke so I consider myself in the second group. πŸ™‚

So as we were saying, one of the reasons I was away from blogging for a while was giving more attention and priority to my personal life… and to people I care about.

But another thing keeping me busy this past 2 months, was getting into a new Internet marketing "hobby":

Niche marketing.

I was never a hard-core niche marketer. Most of my business was focused on targeting the Internet marketing niche. That was my passion and something I felt I was great at.

But recently, for the fun of the marketing experiment and to get the thrill of the challenge of trying a brand new road, I got into niche marketing…

And after 2 months, let me tell you that I love it. πŸ™‚

It is not only very profitable, but also it is so much fun to get into so many various niches and conquer them, and at the same time grow your knowledge in so many different topics.

For example now I know many things about dog allergies, hair care, loans, makeup secrets, interior design and so much more, just because of building some sites about them.

So if you are the type of person who enjoys new experiences and loves growing your knowledge on various fields, niche marketing will be so much fun for you.

Talk to you soon!

    Interesting post.
    I really respect your consistency.
Many people know that finding a niche, getting traffic and selling ads and products (particularly info products) will generate tons of cash but it’s consistency that makes us rich and makes lots of internet marketing pupils poor.

Oh, for sure – the lion’s share of my money comes from niches which are non-IM. I really only started my IM blog because I was learning so many things that I was excited to talk about, and no one in my “real” life understood or cared about them. LOL. It was really just an outlet to get that out.

But other niches have been very good to me – my biggest site is – it’s a music site with performance video clips from hundreds of different artists. That’s my passion. But I have sites about everything from acne to weddings to travel to dog training to exercise to real estate and more. I have about 150 sites going now.

    It’s SUPER fun!!! πŸ˜€

    Hi Shahab,

Yes, I agree. Being persistent is really the key to any lasting success.

Some people decide to try this Internet marketing career for a while… They start a website, read a few ebooks, and try to sell something for a few months.

But when not seeing results yet, they give up and decide it is not going to work.

Well, who know? Maybe they were just one more month or even week from success? πŸ™‚

    Best of luck!
