When things go wrong as they sometimes will
When the road you’re trudging seems all up hill
When funds are low and the debts are high
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh
When care is pressing you down a bit
Rest, if you must, but don’t you quit
Life is queer with its twists and turns
As everyone of us sometimes learns
And many a failure turns about
When he might have won had he stuck it out
Don’t give up though the pace seems slow
You may succeed with another blow
Success is failure turned inside out
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt
And you never can tell how close you are
It may be near when it seems so far
So stick to the fight when you’re hardest hit
It’s when things seem worst that you must NOT QUIT!

This poem has been one of my favorite motivational poems of all time.
It especially came to my help and gave me energy back in those days that I worked hard on my online business but didn’t see any results. You know, those hardest first days that we have all experienced.
Actually I remember when I was starting out, I worked on my business for one full year during my school days… and made just $8 from one affiliate sale in the entire year!
Can you imagine that?
$8 in one year.
But I kept giving myself hope and energy by saying if I could make $8, then it proves I can make $80, $800, and $8,000.
And how true it was!
I have had a $8,000 month, and now I am shooting for the next step: a $80,000 month.
So if you are at the beginning of your Internet marketing journey, let this poem give you energy and strength.
Really believe in yourself that you will make it happen one day soon!
To your success,
Ladan

I love that poem, it’s one of my favorites too! I remember having it as a bookmark when I was in running in high school and though I was terrible at it I never quit, lol (well at least not until the end of the year).

Hey that’s a poem I haven’t seen for quite some time. It’s good to see it again. And it is good to know that it is true as evidenced by your example. I am earning less than $8 but I will keep trying….
